baby shower

My sis Emma organised a baby shower for me on Saturday. It was really good fun, especially the getting presents part! I was given lots of really thoughtful stuff which was really lovely. We also played a 'guess the flavour of the baby food' game, and we all concluded that the savoury stuff tasted disgusting, whilst the sweet stuff was not so bad. So thanks to everyone who came (and those who couldn't and sent pressies anyway) and a big thanks to Emma for organising it (and especially for the gorgeous chocolate cake too)!

Feel like everything's getting quite real now. Midwife reckons that baby's going to be a chunky monkey so I'm hoping it doesn't decided to leave it too late to make an appearance. Head is down and going in the right direction so that's all good.
